Art Showcase – Highlands Ranch
February 27 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Our Highlands Ranch studio will be hosting an after hours Art Showcase on February 27th. A few of our very talented customers will be showcasing their art – not only painted pottery, but canvas and glass too! You can purchase their amazing pieces of art, or the artist will be available to talk about commissioned work as well.
About the artists:
LIZ RECTOR lives in Castle Pines and is an artist of every medium (acrylic, ceramics, wood-burning, digital art, drawing, etc.). She got her undergrad from TCU and master’s from DU. Check out her website lizrectorart.com. Her items will be priced at the show and she is available for commission work (including pet portraits).
VIKKI FAUDEL began painting ceramics after a date with her husband to Arts on Fire for Valentine’s day. Rather than just picking up her completed piece and leaving, she sat down to paint more. The rest is history.
She works full time at her international life coaching business. One of the core values she teaches is balance between work and relaxation. She paints Disney and whimsical because they’re fun and relaxing.
Her favorite thing about painting is talking with kids and adults about what she’s painting. She’s as giddy as any child when something new is about to come out of the kiln. She never misses a chance to encourage someone else on their project.
She can be seen most Tuesdays painting from open to close at Arts on Fire.
LINDA CROUSE began several years ago to create glass-fused art pieces after working around engineers and scientists for many years. It was time for her creativity to be re-activated and create wonderful art gifts for birthdays, Christmas, and gifts for any special occasion! She enjoys sharing her handmade glass necklace pendants, bowls, vases, wall-hangings, and now, snowflakes, with friends, family, and new acquaintances she meets. Linda finds glass-fusing a relaxing hobby in a creative way to work with various art designs that she creates, putting together a mixture of colors in intriguing and unexpected ways. She, too, can be seen most Tuesdays working on some new art project gifts at Arts on Fire.
