How much does it cost?

The price you see on the piece of pottery is the price you pay… no extra studio fees, material fees, hourly fees… nothin’ extra. We have a wide range of pottery pieces priced from $12 up.

How long does it take?

We guarantee your pottery piece will be finished in one week, glass takes 10 days. We will let you know the pick-up date when you check-out.

Why does it take a week?

After you paint your piece, it has to dry a full day. Then we have to dip each piece in our clear glaze which takes another full day to dry. Once the clear glaze is dry, we load pieces into one of our three kilns on-site. Once in the kiln, the firing & cooling takes another day and a half. Then, VOILA, you have your masterpiece!

My son ate some paint, are all your paints and glazes safe?

YES! The paints are all non-toxic and are safe for children to handle… although the taste is probably pretty bad. We use dinner-safe and water-safe paints/glazes. Plus, we use only lead-free glaze too.

You guys are so wicked-cool, can I get a job here?

YES! We are always accepting applications to join our fun-loving team! We may not be hiring at the moment, but we always keep applications/resumes on file.

I’m not very creative, how can you help me?

We have all sorts of tools and tricks to get your creative juices flowing. We also have a ton of samples and idea books to copy from. Stamps, stencils and other tools are the tricks of the trade and we will show you how to use them!

Will you call me when my piece is ready?

Unfortunately, due to the volume of pieces we are not able to call everyone when their items are done. On your sales receipt a pick-up date is clearly noted, and you are always welcome to call us to check on your masterpiece.

I won’t be able to pick up my item next week, how long will you keep it for me?

We will keep your item on the pick-up shelf for 60 days. After 60 days, please call the studio to inquire if your piece is still available for pick-up.

I’m on my way, how late are you open?

We are open 12pm – 6pm Monday through Wednesday; 11am – 6pm Thursday through Sunday. Hours are subject to change. always check our calendar page or our Facebook pages for special hours or closures.

Do you give donations?

Sure! We are happy to consider any fundraising project. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are only able to donate to a select few organizations. Visit our fundraising page for more information.

Do you take reservations?

No, we do not take reservations - you can come in anytime! If you would like reserved space, check out our party/groups page.

I’m lost, where are you?

We have two locations, if you are looking for us in Highlands Ranch, we are in the Highlands Ranch Town Center (South) located between Broadway & Lucent Boulevard along Highlands Ranch Parkway. Look for the clock tower!

If you are trying to find us in Castle Rock, we are downtown, right off of Perry Street on 4th.

Wow, didn’t know you were there… how long have you been there?

The studio has been in around since 2004, (known as My Creative Outlet) we moved into the Highlands Ranch Town Center in February of 2006. We opened our Castle Rock location in November of 2013.

Are you part of a national chain?

No, we are proud to be locally and family owned and operated!
